The History Museum is temporarily closed to the public through March 30.
Staff continues to work on deep cleaning and preservation of Cascade County History and can assist you with general questions, research requests, and gift shop purchases.
Please call us and leave a message at 406-452-3462 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Thank you for your patience during this temporary closure.
Precautionary measures are being taken to disinfect shared surfaces at the museum during this temporary closure. Volunteers are asked to remain home and staff presenting illness of any kind must not come to work. As COVID-19 spreads and the scale of impact is still unknown, we want to do our part to protect our employees and community.
We will work hard to bring back our volunteers, reopen when it is deemed safe and reschedule programming as soon as we are able. In the meantime staff will continue to further preservation work on behalf of Cascade County. We apologize that over the next two weeks there may be a slight delay in requests and/or correspondence though are checking our voicemail and emails. Leadership at The History Museum/Cascade County Historical Society asks for your patience and support during these unprecedented times. We will reassess and post an update by March 30, 2020.
